Community Gardening

Growing in the Desert

The Community Garden is an extremely special space that is not only serene and beautiful, but an amazing variety of produce can be seen growing and thriving here. You will find everything from sugarcane and radishes, to beautiful flowers and vining string beans.

There are 48 individual 20x20 plots and 6 half plots. Each plot is leased yearly, and included in the nominal lease is your plot, water, access to the tool shed and social functions of the gardeners.

Below are some details to help you understand the garden community a bit more and determine if it is something that you are able to commit to. If this is you, we would love to add you to the plot wait list! If after reviewing the expectations and details it doesn’t seem like a fit for you at this time, we understand and look forward to you re-applying when it works for you. We also have volunteer opportunities as well.
